Dragon Dance Contest

Have you ever been to a Chinese Lunar New Year celebration? They are lots of fun, and the entertainment normally includes a "Dragon Dance" performance. They basically make a huge dragon puppet move and dance (the dancers hold the dragon up on sticks).

Rules: For this contest, you need to either make a "Dragon Dance" puppet, or some other type of dragon puppet in the Dragon Maker II. Save it your gallery with the title or description "Dragon Dance".

We will post your entry/entries here in this thread and add them to the poll once voting starts!  You can enter as many times as you want, but you can only win one prize.

Prize: The winners of this contest will have their winning image on our front page (linking to their personal gallery) until the next contest, emeralds, and a ribbon shown in the gallery.

Do you have to use the actual Dragon Maker? I wanted to use an Emerald character for something.

These entries are amazing so far! I wasn't sure if you guys would like this theme, but I'm really glad we tried it. The colours, the variety, the fireworks and backdrops. Its all super fun. I will have to make some pieces for the next lunar new year

yah! I tryed making fireworks, but I couldn't get the right shaped pices to do it.

For now, I think that I would use some of the dots from the horse maker (the markings pieces). They don't have oulines and they could be stretched out to look explody
