I don't think I can help you there alicornqueen, that sort of thing is something you guys need to decide among yourselves. Maybe you could suggest to Ramoth that she list all the powers possible so that you would know your other choices. Or start your own thing where you get first pick of available abilities...

Thats one of the brilliant parts about creating your own things (or contributing to other peoples stuff), what exists is up to you. Speaking with animals, summoning elements (stuff like controlling weather), charisma (so you can persuade others to do things), the ability to move things with your mind, healing powers given by the gods, supers strength or speed, diamond hard claws that can cut anything, the list is really endless. Its up to you guys as a group to talk about what should be possible and a fair way to divvy those abilities up among you.

well here's my side, i had said that i wanted to be the only one who had hypno, and i said that if i hadn't have brought it up,it may not have come up. and before i saw this post, i said the same thing about chosing a diff. power. but she hasn't replyed, so im waiting. but i feel i should atleast be able to be the only one with hypno, because as i said, "if i hadn't have brought it up,it may not have come up" thats just my side of the story. i may seem like a little problem, and that im making a big deal. But i really dont like it when people do this.

Hi guys, I'm honestly not sure how to deal with this. On one had, I don't want to say "all stories are first come first serve", since then there will be a rash of "I'm the most uber strongerst unbeatable whatever it is..." on the other hand if someone does have an idea first, it seems like a more fair course to let them keep it (if there are still lots of other "powers" and such to go around).

Could you perhaps coprimise by having a power like charisma? In that case, instead of sort of controlling someone/something, you are so charming and convincing that you can't be easily resisited. It seems like your suggestions are just amazingly good ideas?

Or something more like fairy glamor, where you sort of use illusions to make someone see things differently than they are, and therefore they do what you are wanting. For example, if you want someone to charge into battle with a sword (fighting on your side) you cast an illusion so that they see you as someone you love, and they others as demons or something?

Do either of you have any other solutions on ways that you could compromise? I really don't want to have to stop the story telling and roleplay on this forum, I enjoy seeing you all have fun. But I also don't want it to be creating friction when there is no need for it. You are all super creative people, I have no doubt that you can come up with a way to solve this without me having to implement rules that none of us would enjoy.
