Help Please!!!!!!!!

I am over thirteen and I still have to use the drop down menu text thingy when I try to send messages to other users. What should I do.

veryone has to use the drop down menu,there isent a choice for messaging people with that.

I hate that fact. I don't like the drop down menu, I want to freely type, because there is some things EA doesn't include in the drop down menu that I want to use. (Don't ask me what, I don't remember.)

Sorry guys, but unless you guys have a brilliant idea for how I can get a couple adults to work for free and keep an eye on those messages, then they need to stay as drop down. We have too many young users on our site, and those messages could be used for bullying or other bad things since I don't have someone to keep an eye on them and respond to complaints.

(If you write down things you want to say, I will try to improve them... I really had no idea what kinds of things to put in there.)

Well, I would be willing to help, in a little less then a year. Perhaps it would be possible to limit the number of messages send in a day/week (like max. 5 a day per user), so there wouldn't be an infinite amount of them (this would also stop possible chainmails, since only one person at the time can be reached).

I need to get the forum fully moderated first... right now it is just me and my mom and we can't keep up by ourselves. We are looking at ways to deal with private messaging though, so we will see what can be done

I just had an idea as I read Emerald's 1st message. How about all the messages are sent to a moderator and they have to approve messages? That's just an idea, though. Doesn't have to be added.

We have though about that, but (since we are short help) they would just get backed up and behind the way the images do.

I have also thought about limiting them, or giving them an emerald cost so that people send just important stuff... but it will take a lot of coding time to put a new system like that into place
