Oooh, is it Masky? It looks amazing... I love how you worked in your signature/watermark thing on the parchment.
Are the background girls of consequence, or just coincidential?

Thank you, Harrier! ^-^ Yes, that's dear Mask Face :P. And I know, that parchment deal is one of my favorite parts of this; the idea for it struck me at the last minute. XD. And those ladies aren't any specific characters in particular, but they are of much consequence... it's all part of Mask's story, which is to be told at a later date. ;) In this picture alone and in itself, they're supposed to contrast Masky I guess... they're supposed to look material-minded and not very likeable (whereas Mask's like, a million ba-billion times more kick-butt awesome than they are anyway, among other stuff :P).

I am so loving Masky! I can't wait to find out more, all of the pics you've done of her so far mirror my likeness in all ways possible!
Heck! She even looks like me in some ways....  ;D

Ha, that's funny Lore, I never really thought of that. :P Although, judging by your photo on deviant art, you don't have facial deformities and you look much, much friendlier. XD Mask is really tall and skinny, too (of course, I don't know that you aren't, but I couldn't be sure just based on a picture of your face). What do you mean, she 'mirrors your likeness'?

And you'll know more, she's going to be an animated movie one day, and you can see it all in there (I plan on playing her voice, too, though I'll need to change my own voice a bit for that... I wish I could test-record myself). I almost want to make more pictures too, she's such fun to draw and build in the makers, but I don't want to make too many or I'll get repetitive, and I also don't want to give too much away just yet... :P

lol, that's true, no one dose...

My likeness is how I feel, you know my soul... She looks the way I feel most of the time. Not depressed, just you know, different and know it yet almost doesn't care..

It is Mask Face! I love dear Masky. I thought you might like to know, Sekoiya, that I had an epiphany the other day, and I now know a way I might tell the story of my character who I said earlier was a lot like Masky, without using the world of HP(which would be plagiarism and therefore illegal).
She also reminds me of a second, newer character of mine, Nightingale, who is almost an alter ego of mine.

You know Harrier, your character Majesta, who you said looks like Mask a little, her name stuck in my head. Mask Face has a 'real' name that's a deep secret... obviously what we call her isn't her actual name. :P I don't even know what her real name is and I don't want to, because that would almost wreck it in a way. But I do know that it was given to her by her grandmother, and that it was something very noble and even magical. It could be something like 'Majesta' I guess... or maybe my brain is just noting the two same starting letters, :D. But it won't ever be confirmed to any of us, because again, I'm keeping Mask's 'real' name a secret even to myself. ^-^

What was your 'epiphany'? The way you said that made it sound very interesting. :) Would you care to share about Nightingale as well? It's strange, all this stuff... if I hadn't already mentioned it, Mask is a character who originates entirely in a dream I had a few years ago. I wasn't even trying, she just appeared. I've put her in a story that developed surprisingly fast, but I still haven't figured out everything about what she meant in that dream. Though I know she's stuck very firmly in my mind and that she fills me with a pure-awesome feeling... it's all rather mysterious, no? :P

I'm not sure of Majesta's full meaning, either. She has a purpose, a meaning; I can feel it, I just can't see it. There are only two other characters I have like that, and each is different...

My epiphany was just remembering a world I created for a roleplay that never really 'caught on', so to speak. It is a world in which I could properly tell Majesta's story without ruining it, that's all.

As for Nightingale... her story is coming soon, I promise :o Don't worry, you'll learn more about her soon enough.

It's okay, you don't have to share anything you don't want to. :) And who's that in your avatar, one of the aforementioned characters? :P

(Just to explain because it's itching me... the stuff around Mask's eyes isn't shadows... it's some sort of weird pigment in her skin. I'm not sure why it's there; she was like that in the dream. Ask my subconscious :P It could be one of two possible reasons for her to be called 'Mask Face' though, the other being that her face is like a mask in itself. Again, I'm not sure what that shadowy coloration is or why it's there. ??? )

That's Nightingale. i made a full-body picture of her, but it's waiting for approval. She actually looks a lot like me- same facial shape, same skin tone, same hair style; the only difference betwen us(appearance-wise) is hair and eye color; my hair is dirty blond in summer, light brown in winter(its surprising how much my tones change from season to season). Nightingale has always been almost representative of me in my art, I don't know why. She's also very unique; both in the specialness, her similarity to me, and that she's got nothing really special going on, no prophecies, no travel between worlds(except in her imagination), no special powers- she's just an ordinary person with a few problems.
In her case, they actually are shadows; I usually draw her with heavy, dark shadows on her face, so it's the same with the Makers. I have no idea why.

Wow, Flower, a short post! That's not like you! I think you just broke your record for shortest post.
